Valken manufactures some of the most comfortable goggles on the market. This includes the popular, middle-tier Annex series of goggles. Annexes are feature-rich, sporting the kinds of extras you'd normally only find on far more expensive masks. In 2012 Valken began branding the Annex under their name when they acquired SLY, who still produce the high-end Profit.
Annexes going back to the MI-5 have featured 2 layers of foam, one to absorb the impact, one to wick sweat and make the mask more comfortable, including around the frame and ears. They also feature hardcoat-treated polycarbonate scratch-resistant lenses with 260 degrees of horizontal and 160 degrees of vertical visibility. The lenses are secured with a durable strap, and held in place by a patented QuickChange system. Annex goggles are made from high-density injected polyethylene for durability. Annexes also include a visor sculpted for maximum ball deflection.
All Annex goggles come standard with a dual-layered, impact-absorbing SRB foam, and come lined on the exterior with open-cell foam to wick sweat and increase overall comfort. They also use a double-layer of fog to provide extra protection in both the ear and frame.
With Valken's patented QuickChange lens release, you can remove your lens to change out for a spare or to get at a hard to reach splatter. The visor was sculpted to optimize shade while improve deflection of paintballs. It also allows for over 260 degrees of horizontal visibility, as well as 160 degrees vertically, so you can see where you're going, and if there's a player hiding low in wait. The Annex also sports a dual anti-fog hardcoat lens treatment, and features poyarbonate construction to make the lens resistant to fog and scratching.

Valken and SLY have continued to innovate on the Annex formula since, most recently resulting in the MI-9. The MI-9 boasts a flexible lower half compared to previous Annexes, provided superior comfort and also the potential for ball bounce. The MI-9 has the same standard features of the Annex series, a thermal lens to combat fogging, and angled ventilation.
